Judging from the large metal, walk through, red and yellow christmas present that has appeared in town, I think we may be free from the tryanny of tasteful street decorations this Xmas.
Except unfortunately in the Viz manga, where it's now a weird mix of the Case Closed names and the Detective Conan names.
Wish I'd had a better night's sleep before getting my flu jab. Trying to play Diablo 4 felt like my spells were slowly rocking me off to sleep.
The greatest part of Sanda is how quickly "teenager who turns into Santa" becomes the sanest part of the story, as it drip feeds you what's wrong with this world without Father Christmas.
Certain southern parts of the UK don't do mushy peas. And sometimes if they try to, they get it horrendously wrong (looking at you Guildford). A friend at university had never seen them until he moved to the university town.
As our TV listings used say "Regional variations in your area". If you came to my part of the UK you'd be sorely disappointed if you wanted a "munchy box".
As good as his performance as Sanji is, Hiroaki Hirata is best in fading middle-aged man roles. And he's doing that in Sanda to great effect as Saburo Yagiuda.
That's close to the plot of Mitsuteru Yokoyama's Babel II, except because it was 1971, an alien built the Tower of Babel themselves as a distress signal to their race (with Nimrod's help), and it's their Japanese descendant getting the visions of the Tower.
Thanks to a visible disability, I've had that all my life, now it's upgraded to random strangers offering me "a lift home"...

Block fascists. There's no reasoning or arguing with them, you might as well debate with spoiled leftovers. Don't let them bait you. Block fast, block often, block fascists. Let their accounts mummify.
Realised that I've never enjoyed an anime adapting a manga that runs in Dragon Age.

Some real A-listers taking in Portland wrestling
They did just put a special "First look" collection of selected chapters at a larger size and restoring colour this past summer...

I know how I would do it (Space Dandy style with wildly different interpretations per episode), but as they can't even manage that with a Lupin series, I don't think that's achievable.

Congratulations to Professor Shizuma from Giant Robo on their transition. Lookin' good babes ✨️
I'm now eyeing that Kochikame stream with suspicion. It now feels like an obvious candidate for a revival given that the manga is technically complete (ignoring all the times it occasionally comes back).
I'd barely told @digikerot.bsky.social about the original getting official EN translations on Youtube and then they drop a new one on us!
I wonder if the new anime will adapt this adventure? tasuki.tripod.com/rayt/rayeart...

The matt colouring on these really looks awful in this flash photography. They look a lot better in the warm light of the room.
Loved her on Larry Sanders.
