Today, the Chancellor named Brexit as one of the main reasons for expected tax rises and lower productivity.

Wasn't Brexit supposed to put £350 million a week into the economy? 🤔 One of just many lies it seems...

Musk's Grok was asked to verify if a tweet featuring a graphic image of the attack on the LNER train was real.

I'm not sharing the whole image but here is part of it and the text.

PS (to last post) ... And the INXS self-titled debut, of course. Gave this album an absolute thrashing in 1981 when I was 16 and in Year 11. Still like it!

Everything about his body language whenever a question is asked about the Russian bribes speaks of panic. Farage is vulnerable on this.
Farage is asked about another two of his MEPs, who made the same pro-Russia statements that Nathan Gill has now pled guilty to being bribed to make.

"Opinions are opinions."

Farage's defence seems to be that they arrived at those views independently and it has nowt to do with him.

Superb piece by @jamesbloodworth.bsky.social in this month's @bylinetimes.bsky.social mag: "Britain's Media Has Let Nigel Farage Reshape Political Journalism - Why?" This article alone was worth my annual sub to one of the very few news outlets still doing proper journalism

Ed Davey, "I know members opposite are relieved, they're finally allowed to say the Conservative's Brexit deal is a disaster"

"Will the Prime Minister act now to repair the Brexit damage by negotiating a new UK-EU Customs Union to boost Britain's trade and grow our economy?"

Keir Starmer, "No"
Beggars belief why Starmer doesn't have guts to do this. Decent prosecutor in opposition, grand plans thats fizzled out once in government. Could solved the financial mess. But no, limps from one circumstance to the next with ineffective outcomes. @niadh127.bsky.social - Reckon you might agree
