I want to see every Canadian politician wearing one of these for all of November. More than ever, Canada needs to remind the world of the horrors of war, and why we MUST Remember.

We will REMEMBER them.

The poppystore.ca is run by the Canadian Legion, lots of awesome merch!

#NoKings Things to remember for tomorrow:

Wear tight clothing. You do not want flowing hair or clothing giving anyone something to hold onto or yank. Conscious about your body? Suck it up and stay safer, sunshine. No one is looking at you and judging you. I promise. Because, y'know, fascism.
9/

Make as much good trouble as you possibly can.

Get out in such numbers that ol' Cankles McFuckface shits his depends.

Stand up and be counted.

Be able to tell your grandkids that when it mattered the most, you showed the fuck up.

Make Antifa class of 1944 proud.

And stay safe.

Love,

Spark

Canadians are concerned about and thoroughly reject this:
A recent US bill proposal, House Resolution 5518, declares it could potentially allow US officers to operate more freely on Canadian soil.
There are slow drip attempts to achieve their objective.
Shut the faucet off, please.
Albertan parents need to get involved in this.

Are you prepared to pay for private schools for your child, AND create a system where only rich kids get education?

#AB parents need to make clear to Danielle Smith that education is a priority. #ABTeachers are already trying. Stand with them!
This headline tells you everything you need to know about Smith's priorities

She does NOT want to reduce class sizes

If she does that she might have to take some funding away from her private school donors

Whereas teachers care about your kids' education

This is one of the main reasons why the speed camera legislation will be introduced next week. Distraction. PCs want it to dominate the news cycle & shore up support for Ford from the base in the face of questions abt unemployment, conflict-of-interest allegations, education & healthcare.

No, I’m not cool with the leader of ANY political party in Canada spouting scripts and musing openly about the authoritarian dystopian playbook.

Least of all the Leader of The Official Opposition.

9/9 The move is seen as "suspicious" given the tense relationship and Trump's "51st state" rhetoric, putting B.C.'s mining sector at the centre of a complex global game of resources, military power, and national sovereignty.

Why Is the US War Department Buying into a BC Mining Company? | The Tyee
Global instability is creating a rush for critical minerals, which are useful for green energy. And the military.

“You have to remember that 70 per cent of the cost of an aircraft is its long-term support, not its acquisition," said Williams. "And with regard to that, the Gripen E, is one-sixth the cost per hour flying as the F-35."

Long term maintenance contracts in 🇨🇦 would contribute WAY more to 🇨🇦 economy.
Also, the composite parts made in Lunenberg NS are ALSO only one of the components that Lunenberg makes - they have multiple contracts from multiple aerospace manufacturers.
I stopped here to say something very similar. Sure, part of the tail is made here. The company who makes it, Bristol/Magellan, has multiple other contracts and the loss would be marginal. Also, Bristol/Magellan could certainly pick up other contracts, as well as many others.

It’s NOT a 🇨🇦 airplane.

Rakhi Pancholi came out swinging on the Wyant Report and highlighted all of its flaws and shortcomings…

It’s worth remembering she’s a lawyer as she takes Danielle Smith’s spin apart.

Somehow this is both less concerning than American border patrol agents, and MORE alarming that Canadian border patrol agents are acting such that the question even needs to be asked. 😳

Reminds me of another one: “You look like someone who hasn’t been punched in the face enough times”
Campaign finance / elections laws. His sentence was deferred (a lot like SNC Lavalin). He wasn’t ch-fed with the crimes, on the promise he wouldn’t violate-te fun-nice laws -gain.

Except he h-s. So many contributions -re illegit. And if he gets ch-fed with new crimes, he gets hit with both.
Not nearly far enough.

If, and only if, he also receives a 80- grit sandpaper rubdown beforehand. And still daily.

(And for clarity’s sake, Miller has to do his own rubdown *shudders* I wouldn’t inflict that on anyone…wait…Russ Vought)
I’ve heard McDicks here too, and I’m in Manitoba. Not super common, but definitely around.
Love to!

As a Canadian, I am curious what the potential penalties are for “impersonating a law enforcement officer” in Canada.

No ID, no badge? Charge them with impersonation of a police officer. If they’re carrying weapons, charge them. Guns are NOT open carry here.
