When Desi taps into the arcane arts to summon a lost soul, she expects fear and obedience. What she doesn’t expect is a ghost who’s just relieved to escape a different kind of purgatory.

A four-panel comic titled "Meanwhile... Desi Conjures a Spirit" shows a red-skinned, devil-like woman named Desi summoning a ghost. In the first panel, Desi sits at a computer desk with glowing mystical symbols floating in front of her as she performs a spell. The mummy has clearly taken a more modern approach to wrapping — or rather, unwrapping — herself.
