no good PDF editor. I extremely prefer the simplicity of Markdown and occasional HTML embeds.
hard to publish. again, tons of solutions to publish Markdown.
megabyte+ file sizes for basically no meaningful content.

whatever dictionary would call a "dark pattern" - addictive loops, rent-seeking, ads, beggary, Hyprland-level community toxicity, and silent background data harvesting.

all games I named are well-known for some or all of these issues with varying degrees of notoriety

you have to be beyond mentally ill for still not having your Adobe subscription cancelled and playing such "games" as Fortnite or LoL. the cancellation fee is entirely worth it, though you can still easily avoid it, just like you can avoid infinite microtransaction flurry
