I believe #ArcRaiders could be the pivot away from F2P live service games. Even if this player base evaporated, Embark made their money up front and there’s much less pressure to shut the servers down. They can just make the game they want to make.

After finally watching YouTube Easter egg compilations and comparisons of the #Fortnite Springfield map. I’m truly blown away by how detailed and deep it is.

The art/design team did a phenomenal job in making the best tribute to The Simpsons I’ve ever seen. It needs to be preserved.

Fortnite wants to do everything so you never need to leave and the diversity of content is impressive. I didn’t even touch Festival.

I couldn’t help feel stressed for the developers who are putting so much into each corner that there’s FOUR battle passes a month! Yet so much is left to rot as well

LEGO odyssey is closer to being a Minecraft competitor and I’ll admit it’s pretty cool. It’s still unfinished but there’s a vision and it’s free, making it impressive. I had little complaints

I spent hours on LEGO Brick Life and it’s a nice concept but it’s a job simulator? There’s nothing to do but do menial tasks like work a burger joint or drive around a shell of a town with NPCs who have no personality

The UI in general is a nightmare to navigate as it’s obsessed with pushing UGC to the point that finding official content is buried within menus.

You need to ❤️ Epic as a creator just to find a shortcut to them.

The BR is still great and Zero Build is a life saver. Then there’s Reloaded, OG, Blitz, Ranked, Tournament modes and it doesn’t explain them well. The fact that every mode is an island rather than a setting toggle makes it more confusing.

When you grow up with almost every institution of your life that you’re meant to trust tells you something is bad, the majority of people are going to take it at face value. A lot was the fear of the unknown - if our tiny population could fund/do everything we want without the UK’s money

Our national media is pro-UK, Westminster is pro-UK, the national political parties are pro-UK, the Supreme Court is pro-UK, the Monarchy is pro-UK, the military is pro-UK, the banks are pro-UK

Honestly, yes. There’s a guy two doors down from me who is military and he purposely flies a 🇬🇧 out his house everyday rather than a 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Despite what people might think there’s a lot of people who are proudly monarchists. And the UK benefits keeping Scotland in so we see institutional oppression

I mean, an extreme case it would be possible to spark civil war. As by law the Monarchy can recall the Government and the Government can utilise the army against traitors of the crown (Scottish government)

But we’re frankly not going to do that as the army is UK not per region, so we have no army

They’re nations within the internationally UN recognised country of the United Kingdom. Honestly, it’s a fucking mess but it’s the result of over a thousand years of war and monarchy

It’s tiny country syndrome. There’s legit economic and legal arguments that we’re better with the UK financially but politically, Scotland is centre-left and England is right wing, so there’s culture clash that’s gotten wider

The US meddles a lot in Scottish politics. Russia was disinfo warfare

We’re a country of 5mil+ who’s biggest trading partner is England then the EU. The UK is one of the permanent security council of the EU and UN. Leaving would lose a lot of international power for Scotland and we’d have to adopt a new currency, legal system and trade system if we left the UK
