If I want to eat excessive calories I want it at least to be nice, not oversalted, fatty food with a few limp vegetables made slimy with too much sauce.

If you don’t have any active hobbies and are happy to worry about it all the time maybe. I’ve had to retrieve mine from a horse’s mouth a couple of times after it’s been filched from my pocked and
certainly fumbled and dropped it on concrete from about 8 foot up and then it’s been trodden on 🤦‍♀️

Lots of ideas that require masses of work and maintenance. Wildlife gardens are great, I’ve got one, but they ain’t low effort unless you want a monoculture of the most invasive weed.

Ok you’re telling me that the money can’t be reallocated to the healthcare budget. What budget it is coming out of then? Because pretty sure that an opportunity cost analysis would identify better use of the money pretty much anywhere.

It will be about the natural direction that they grow. I have some that grow straight forwards, but my second finger in particular the nail curves down at the end, more on one side than the other so I suspect would curl down if I grew them.

Note how the enquiry very rarely looks at the events during the second wave. First wave there was excuses as it hadn’t been seen before, second wave they knew what would happen and were weeks from a vaccine.
