Image of a graphic that looks like a woodcut or Lino print. flat brown colour against a buff background. The text reads “no more girl bossing, I want to girl rest. Girl sleep. Girl lay down on the forest floor and be absorbed by nature. I want to girl moss.” The image depicted is a simplifying line depiction of a long haired women lying down asleep.

New online: The Gay Liberation Front (GLF) collection is now available on LSE Digital Library! We’ve digitised and published the GLF Diaries and the GLF newspaper Come Together. Further series from the archives will be added as digitisation continues.

And this is how #folklore starts...

#wolfenoot

#custom #tradition #DogsOfBlueSky
Image of a social media post by Jax Goss which reads: 'My son has invented a holiday called Wolfenoot. It is when the Spirit of the Wolf brings and hides small gifts around the house for everyone. People who have, have had, or are kind to dogs get better gifts than anyone else. You eat roast meat (because wolves eat meat) and cake decorated like a full moon. A holiday to the spirit of wolves that celebrates people who are kind to dogs? I can 100% get behind this. So we will celebrating Wolfenoot. It's on the 23rd November if anyone else is moved to celebrate it (Wink emoji). (If you do, send me pics, so I can show my kid his idea spread. (Heart emoji)). ETA:Woah, this seems to be resonating and taking off. Please use #wolfenoot if you post pics or anything so he can see how it spreads. (Smile emoji) He's already excited that other people want to do it. (Heart emoji)

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became grown, I put away childish things. Then when I became a bit more grown, I rebought those same childish things from a vintage reseller and kinda don’t know how to feel about it

Looking forward to watching @thelibrariansfilm.bsky.social which was on BBC's Storyville last night: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis... For our UK followers (most of you!) Plenty of time to watch via BBC iplayer or via our Box of Broadcasts subscription. Free people read freely. 📚 💪
