The vfx are still impressive unfortunately they’re trying to service a boring story where none of the characters go through any meaningful growth or change besides getting derezzed or learning how to kiss from Jeff Bridges being weirdly and suddenly creepy for two scenes

Legacy’s reverence for the first movie tricked a lot of people into thinking its better than it actually is when the reality is that besides the landmark vfx it probably only deserves “hey remember that one movie” status

I'm sorry but this is an absolutely terrible take.

The difference between fanfiction and AI is that fanfiction is a labor of craft and love by amateur writers that explicitly does not attempt to profit off the art.

AI slop exists for the singular purpose of generating capital without paid labor.
