I think the problem here is that we get this very vague background of a terrible war, but somehow the zoo animals survived but there's no other humans and you expect me to believe these are the only two that aren't living in a shelter or dead??? Dunno how I feel about Shuumatsu Touring because ep2 did some interesting stuff (but also cliche) but them ep3 was just them doing cute things again and that's not a thing that's going to keep my attention long term tbh
