It’s so frustrating to watch Pritzker say this why he’s allowing the state police under this command to enforce Trump’s agenda. He may be content to sit on his hands for the next few years, but his constituents increasingly are not, and he’s failing them. Getting out of the way is his best option.

Everything that just happened was both brutal and expected given how we've seen ISP behave these last few weeks.

Saw troopers striking people with batons, dragging protesters. They're currently cuffing someone marked as a medic. Approximately nine people we see in state custody now.

I cannot believe he is supporting this. I am so pissed off. I live in an area where ISP is the agency that responds when my neighbors or I call 911, so I know they have better things to do. I write JB at least once every two weeks, sometimes more. I don't get it.
