I think the biggest problem I have with an artist using AI tools is that they remove a key part of the learning process.
Why bother experimenting with new techniques and working outside your comfort zone when you can just type in a prompt and copy what a program poops out?

i think a lot about being a baby seal who hasn't swam yet because you're a mammal with beautiful comfy dry fur and everyone is trying to force you to be wet and cold forever you have to be wet and cold for the first time and then you have to forget what being nice and dry is like so you can cope
