I think people forget Luke is 23 at the end of Return of the Jedi. He's 53 in The Last Jedi. The idea that a 23-year-old would have the same mindset and philosophical perspective in his 50s is patently ridiculous.

Fair. I think if you grew up with the show it might have mnore pull. But I have to imagine most of those people also outgrew this show. I was 22 and my brothers were 17 and 11 when it came out. I don't think either if them is very excited about season 5. They're both to busy playing Persona games.
