gave proof through the night, that our ham was still there
@mcuban.bsky.social , I know you take a lot of crap here, but thank you again for what you're doing with this. I know people who are able to get medicine they previously could not afford solely due to this company.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari has set up a table and this sign outside Speaker Johnson’s office.
These snowflakes can't even hear someone speaking in a reasonable tone telling them exactly what they are and what history will think of them without completely melting down. I'm not saying screaming, not throwing things, just literally saying it to them calmly when you encounter them.
I give even odds I end up with felony charges before this is over, and I literally won't _touch_ one of them.

But I know their reactions, up close, to hearing accurate but cruel things said to them, and for having the audacity to film them breaking the law.
Capitalism does not mean that the government should not provide services and infrastructure for all of us, including those in need. These ideals are not antithetical. Likewise, Mamdani's platform is not radical, except when compared to a regressive, failing mythos of times that never existed.
I wish this thread would be the front page of every paper tomorrow.
All of this above. Had nothing to do with food or treats. It was because the office ran better than when it was full of men.
Need all the incels to read the comments on this thread, mostly written by men within one standard deviation of normality.
the women in the workplace discourse is very funny because a man who can act normal in an office environment that's predominantly female is absolutely on easy street. it's maybe the best gig anyone in history has had. and yet for many guys it is utterly impossible
I can confirm that what you have said is true. I've been one of two men in an entire office before. That was the BEST environment I've ever been in.
Your caps lock is broken, Marc. Upper case only.
I read this three times as Bezos and was so so confused.

Thank you, New York City. Together we made history.

Now let’s get to work.

Eh. Probably just different places. I used to sit and drink with em and watch em stumble to their cars and drive off. You knew not to call in, because they'd straight up fuck you up for reporting a cop. I had to do it once for legit reason and got harassed for a decade.
Also why they were going under a consent decree, though Trump dropped that.
In each of these peoples' cases, think of the dumbest person you ever went to school with, and the fact they enjoy "having the power to do what I want!" and you're there. LMPD basically kept every crook and criminal on as a cop until they started actually killing and raping people (not a joke).
Also, at least two cops killed people in Louisville doing exactly that while not on a call, and in at least one case (likely both), extremely drunk. :/

(No, I don't think they represent most the force, but that sticks with ya!)
Well, in my case, it was because I rode in cars with cops who did it just because they could and laughed about it. LMPD was a corrupt wreck of a force for a while. Especially the VIPER squad. Think like The Wire level shit. Still surprised no one has done a show on them yet.

He has declared war on Trump and made people excited about being New Yorkers. I’m already proud to live here and my god, that was the best NYC pride, don’t fuck with us speech I’ve heard in my lifetime
It's me. I think you're just running the red light. 😂
Hell, I don't think NYPD would even make it in like Louisville, KY for long. So many fed resources here in NYC. A lot different than when you're quite literally dealing with Sinaloa as a beat cop.
Yuppppp. I get people love to whine about NYC crime, but per capita, and especially per capita / force size, it has the lowest crime rate of any place I've ever lived. Those guys would come back after a year.
