A bunch of random Tetris pieces are at a party, and the room is packed.

A 1x4 Tetris piece walks in and says "Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late!", and almost all the Tetris pieces disappear from the party.

How do podcasts actually make money from advertising when the only ads I ever hear are for other podcasts?

Is this because Canadian advertisers don't advertise on podcasts? Is it different when you listen in other countries?

Near as I can tell, the shortest distance across Canada, from Stanley Park in Vancouver to the Cape North Lighthouse at the tip of Cape Breton, is 6255 km.

This morning I just passed that distance with my cycling kilometres so far this year.

When I said I was tired of hearing Lay it on the Line by Triumph over and over and over during the NHL playoffs, this was NOT a request to instead play Raise a Little Hell by Trooper over and over and over during the MLB playoffs.

We've been doing it every year for the past four years. We smoked brisket in a pit for the three years before that, but the filing cabinet works a lot better.

We have a cover for the front, and the bottom drawer can be opened or closed to let in air and raise or lower the temperature.
