A few photos from Margaret Killjoy stopping through Boise last night while touring her newest book, The Sapling Cage.

It was a magical evening of sharing stories and community.

There's a lot that can't be conveyed about the energy and the beauty here.

Folks gather on gravel in front of the community center. The stairs have been worn soft over the years, the BBQ out front looks forgotten and hungry, mouth agape. Orange and pink sunlight pours from the clouds and bathes the whole scene. It's beautiful and peaceful.
