The problem is the time. We are hoping to improve an extremely common commute that is currently (one way): an hour by car, or 1:45 by transit via 2 transfers. Which of those peer cities has a comparable situation? Are you arguing we should be happy with the status quo?

there are 20 people waiting for the 25 to treasure island because this bus doesn't run often enough for effectively being the only option to get to the island where most of the cities new affordable housing is being build and where a significant portion of the population dont own cars
