Hang in there... I had the same issue with my first novel. Cutting out half is painful! I saved the best of the excerpts, though, for future works.

I don't pretend to be an expert... but from the webinars I've attended, it's my understanding that it's fine to reference the tool in your personalization of the letter. Something like... "In your Manuscript Wishlist post, you note your interest in XXX."
