Total's CEO Pouyanne says there are limits to the easy oil supply growth of recent times - US shale, Brazil and Guyana - and Opec will take back control when that's gone.

"Opec countries prefer to have $60-$80-$90/bl than $50-60/bl," he said.

The bigwigs of Riyadh, rightly, have adjusted the flood of returning oil to an ooze and priced it accordingly. The oil market is in no mood to receive another half-million barrels of feedstock in such short order but.. check in in a few or several months’ time..
