fun fact: letting your dog become obese is abuse. not keeping their nails trimmed regularly is abuse. severe matting is abuse. knowing that they’re fear-reactive and doing nothing to help work through it is abuse.

iykyk what I’m talking about but as a dog groomer I can confidently say that the amount of accepted animal neglect I see on the daily is staggering. it’s really ridiculous to throw around accusations like that when most of the people doing it probably don’t even maintain their own dog’s health
