Not in Hell Yet... Discussing childhood abuse and trauma, a survivor of extreme neglect and abuse tells all.

Apparently, in my family, it means that if you're old enough to verbalise it, then you're old enough to internalise it, because speaking out about it will only get you isolated.

Here’s a sneak peak into my upcoming series, The Life I Survived, I will be deep-diving into the stories of my past. The situations and experiences I went through during my childhood and sharing them, un-filtered through the lens of my own memory.

In this photo, silhouettes of pines, eucalyptus and bush dominate the right. While the orange and yellow glow of the setting sun highlight and shine through, as though entirely unfazed by the approaching darkness. Shadow, dark clouds hovering on the upper left of the photo only serve as to echo that statement.

Vivid blue sky with some fluffy white clouds are a stark contrast to the richly coloured green pines and eucalyptus trees that line the horizon of this photograph. There is a shallow wetlands in the mid-fore, slightly below the centre of the image, gently reflecting the sky with the evidence of a soft breeze pushing a gently ripple across the surface of the shallow waters. Between the lower fore of the photo is a tall grassy border for the small vibrant wetlands, while the overall picture is naturally framed to the left by a tall bush.
