Lots of retribution and psyops in that strike. Trump still wants his insurrection act pretext for his domestic police state. A war with Venezuela gives him that card. He hates Maduro. Colombia's next if its elections don't go as Trump likes. Panama's nearby. It's escalating. No off ramp in sight.

The dudes in black could be part of an ICE Special Response Team (similar to police SWAT, Special Weapons And Tactics, teams). If so, they're deployed on a larger scale than announced. ICE is paranoid now, so they are becoming more militaristic in civilian settings. Oversight needed or it escalates.

If the strategy is to bully, to sway elections, to spark regime change, to empower puppet leaders to exploit oil and rare-earth minerals [lucrative mining and drilling rights], to seek hegemony for right-wing/MAGA interests in the entire hemisphere, that makes sense. That's US history in L.A.

If you hit one route, traffic shifts to another. It becomes a game of hemispheric whack-a-mole, even when wacking moles with drones. Blowin up small boats, then, is like using a bazooka on a mosquito, seemingly the size of the brains of those planning his op -- if it's to stop drugs.

Think corporate jets, commercial airliners, cargo ships, even via military ships. They are offloaded short of the U.S., broken up, and delivered by many means along a spider web of trafficking routes to and into the U.S. Guns go south.

Drug routes matter more than borders in the drug-running business. There are many methods, but big loads, multitons, are not moving by small boats. Those are often put together by snydicates of wealthy, connected players [made guys in suits] who share in the risk and gain of getting it to market.

Looks like the committee met once in FY 2025, which ended Sept. 30. The tearing down of the East Wing isn't on the agenda that I see. They did discuss replacing wallpaper, though.

This battle is being waged by honorable state & local politicians against Trump's usurpation of all federal power. But Americans aren't limited by politicians (honorable or corrupt) in times of crisis. If so, unions wouldn't exist. Solidarity and organizing are key. It brought down the Iron Curtain.

I say this hoping better angels intervene. But I see neocon Rubio's hatred of leftist leaders in Latin America (they're all Fidel), Hegseth's shoot-first machismo and Trump's sadism racism as fatal foreign policy flaws that will lead to quagmire wars in which many innocents die or are disappeared.
