I enjoy that the two most official Oktoberfest channeling boozers in Manchester city centre are Albert Schloss and the bar in the Arndale. Polar opposites of the pint spectrum.

Always forget about the pub in the Arndale but that line-up goes hard as hell. Presume it must have the weirdest regulars in the world (11.30am-6pm opening hours, plonked in a shopping centre food court) but where else can you wrestle a Panchos burrito with a pint of cask or a seasonal German.

Micro Bar, Manchester 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1st visit. Arndale Centre. If you don't start at the right entrance it can be awkward to find. Oktoberfest keg takeover, 3 x cask including the Boddingtons revival. Excellent fridge selection. Pinball & Jukebox. Unavoidable market trade atmosphere sadly. 🍻👍
