Went to a gyoza restaurant and every time someone walked in or out everybody shouted OHAYOU GOZAIMASU (good morning) and it left me very confused but the gyoza was great and the place was called nikujiru gyoza no dan da dan and yes, I looked it up—the manga has referenced it.

I can understand/read French well enough, and I’m learning Japanese. I did not learn nearly as much Mandarin as I wanted to when I was in China and I have already forgotten most of it 😭
