Its insanely obvious that the "treaty" is just a bill of sale. Netanyahu wrecked Palestine and the rest of the Gaza strip, and ensured that the US would be involved in the "cleanup".

The scholastic bookfaire is a gateway drug for hoarders.

Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

If i could swallow one exercise in about 10 seconds every morning, I'd be much more arsed.

Probably because it is just as predictable as you can imagine. Money hungry racists that are getting paid to live out their racist para-military fantasies. I dont expect depth and complexity from people zip-tying children.

Direct to consumer content killed the video star?

The fact that suicidal ideation can be a side effect makes the cartoon-villian side of my brain wonder if you could therefore make a drug where the main effect is suicidal ideation. Obviously, dont do that, but could we make a misery pill?

Oh absolutely. Im insufferable and should never be invited to dinner. Unless you're interested in how cold war politics has shaped contemporary international relations.

My favorite is when someone visits the library for the first time and starts screaming, "can you believe all of this stuff they've been hiding from us!"

I agree, but thats not a fair assessment of non-fiction. There is also, "we're all doomed because," "here's show this started in the 17th century," and "did you know history is WAY worse than you ever imagined."

As quickly as we developed a covid vaccine, surely they can make a measles vaccine? Oh, its been around for 60 years? Wtf guys.

I usually find that people haven't done their homework and fail to realize that there likely already exists one or more frameworks that fit the moment. Kind of like how tiktok is just vine with a new coat of paint.

Yes Jim. We were all very aware of this about 5 seconds after it happened. This guy is going to be so shocked when he finds out that Bruce Willis was a ghost the whole time.

Christopher Columbus is the patron saint of American Mythology and Historical Revisionism. He's a symbol to conservatives, that with minimal effort and willful ignorance, you can rewrite the story to fit your narrative.

The idea that reasonable people should take seriously the bad-faith anxieties of victim-impersonators.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.

If you dont crucify yourself whenever you hear "Proud to be an American" are you even a patriot?

Someone once told me "you don't get older, people get younger." I didn't know what she meant until recently.

I was a tax payer when I got my first job at 16, but I still had to wait two years to vote. You should see the way these people get butthurt when you suggest lowering the voting age OR not taxing minors.
