Oh, and it also supports all 5 known versions of DK64. It *can* also work with ROM Hacks, but depending on the complexity of the hack (in terms of what assets are compressed), the mileage will vary

I've been using my python scripts to view this stuff for 1-2 years, and I'm looking forward to others being able to see the same kind of interesting things about this game.

Introducing DonkViewer:

The past few days I've been working on a brand new tool which shows all 216 maps in DK64 in various modes (geometry, collision etc) all within the web browser, and I finally have it in a state where it's ready for others to play with.

Discord has a new feature where you can style your name with various fonts (presumably nitro only). Unfortunately it makes it harder to read and parse through a bunch of names.

Here's the setting to turn off those custom styles rendering.

I know that TASVideos technically allows this, which is why it's not had any pushback from anyone else and I'm not gonna fight it or anything.

But this is scummy, and no different to the XQC stuff from years ago. If you're gonna do this, at least offer meaningful commentary and reactions

Since chrome has decided that they'd rather enforce a worse experience for users by essentially disabling Adblockers, including all workarounds, guess it's time to switch to Brave.

Unfortunately, I know Brave can get a little too overconfident with blocking stuff. Any Brave users have any tips?

Unfortunately no. Requires a particular emulator setting to be enabled that is especially buggy to stop the emulator assuming what the rendering code will be.
