We went with my mom to the lovely celeb cemetery in Westwood Village, some of my all-time favorites are taking their final naps there. But this is potentially the single greatest headstone of all time, my man.

My favorite Lizabeth role is the phenomenal but underseen Too Late For Tears (1949) in which she plays Jane Palmer, one of THE most brutal & cold-blooded femme fatales of the whole era, it’s an absolute gem.

Was over by the Walk Of Fame today, which I’m not very often, found the great Lizabeth Scott’s star. She was one of the greatest of all time in the noir era, if allowed by the director she could handily blow Bogart or Burt off the screen, no sweat. We salute you, Lizabeth! 🫡

I have watched that godforsaken clip of Cuomo saying “that’s what we call a disgraziato” about 150 times and it’s still funny. Partly funny because disgraziato means “unfortunate,” not “a disgrace,” and why do I know that and Andrew Cuomo doesn’t lolol.

She does like to hang out. Very nearby, but all contact is to be at her SOLE initiation. Proximity is not an invitation to pet, head bonks are though.

We started out calling her Gronklin, which has become Grinklin and then Skrinklin. We’ll see where we end up haha. Her personality is very skrinkly.

The rescue cat and I have made friendly. She is very affectionate but also unbelievably skittish, name TBD but I think we should call her Flinch lol.

RIP to the magnificent Samantha Eggar, a favorite actor in things like The Collector, The 7% Solution, The Lady In The Car With Glasses And A Gun, THE BROOD, oh my god The Brood. In addition to her talent and screen charisma, it is also worth noting that she was absolutely lush.

An actual note I just had to send to my mastering engineer about the record: “This sounds great! One thing though, the distorted voice of Jon Pertwee should actually be at the end of Track 16, not the beginning of Track 17” 😂

Oh my god, I just got my album back from the mastering engineer. At some point today I shall sequester myself away somewhere and listen to the whole thing and I am “skeleton leaping out of body” levels of excited about it.

as my spotify subscription has now expired, i pulled the plug on renewal and moved over to tidal! i’m liking it so far, it has like 95% of all my music, pays musicians double rate per stream, and it’s functionally the same
