I mean, my husband is a severe asthmatic and I have long covid. He wears masks for 12–16 hour days on set, often in the sun, doing heavy physical labor.

I assure you he thinks the masking part is pretty trivial compared to the spending years sick part.

Has it, Will. Are you in a lot of spaces with lots of people with long covid and high risk disabilities, where they signal to you of their virtue by wearing masks for no reason. Is that a problem in your life. Should we call the police.

I am not interested in living in a society of Universal Public Masking and neither are most people. This ask is not reasonable, and the invocation of solidarity in service of it is ridiculous.
