A Stake Sauber just outqualified both Mercedes and Ferraris. Take a bow, Nico Hülkenberg 👏‬
Reasons are somewhat understandable, but I suspect they’ll be back before too long. The top level of sports car racing is where Porsche belongs.
Huge shame to see Porsche leave WEC - the 963 was a beauty. Glad I got to see it at Le Mans this year, and hopefully it returns as a privateer in 2026. It says a lot about the success of the regulations that the class can absorb a loss of this magnitude and still look strong. #WEC
Everyone’s losing their minds over the Verstappen–Norris “blocking” incident, but the real story from qualifying is Red Bull showing pace on a track that was meant to suit McLaren. Let’s see what tomorrow brings, but this title fight might just be getting interesting. #F1
Finally some championship needle. Looking forward to these two on the same piece of track tomorrow 🌶️ #F1
🗣️ "Unlike Verstappen, who knows how to navigate a title fight, this is uncharted territory for Norris and Piastri. With momentum shifting, pressure can do strange things."

Can McLaren hold their nerve in Singapore? #F1

From despair to resurgence: Verstappen rebounds as McLaren stumbles. Can Red Bull carry the momentum into Singapore?

The guy just loves to race. Would be great to see more F1 drivers do the same, especially at Le Mans. I get why it’s complicated, but surely it’s in everyone’s interest to make it happen… except maybe for the WEC drivers being replaced 😅
FIA President Ben Sulayem has raised doubts about adding more sprint races. Can't believe I'm saying it, but for once I agree with him.

Seems he can speak sense, all it takes is FIA elections being right around the corner… #F1
🗣️ “The Red Bull seat is notoriously unforgiving, and a rushed promotion risks stalling his rapid development. One thing, however, is already clear: Isack Hadjar isn’t just another junior prospect. He is a future star of Formula 1."

A potential return to Istanbul Park?! MAKE IT HAPPEN. #F1

Sounds very sensible to me.
About as decisive as Bono 😉
Can’t help but agree. Nothing worse than seeing great talent thrown into a difficult car far too early. It’s in everyone’s medium-long term interest to give Hadjar time at Racing Bull.
The Racing Bull is certainly more drivable, and the expectation at the senior team is of course far greater. Allow Hadjar to continue bedding into F1, then he has the best possible chance of making the switch work.
In the end we can only hope he gets the right advice 😅
I don’t see why they’d need to make that decision already. There’s little to gain by throwing Hadjar into a notoriously difficult seat. Give him time, they’ve made this mistake too many times.
Red Bull would do well not to rush him into the senior team. I’m hoping Mekies applies a different approach to what we’ve seen before. Lessons should be learned.
Hadjar’s stunning Zandvoort podium has fans calling for a Red Bull promotion. But is it the right move?

Ouch, compounding the misery for Ferrari. Got to say, that feels a harsh penalty for a pre-race infraction. Surely a fine and a nice dinner for the FIA would suffice? #F1

That is a phenomenal performance from Hadjar. Fended off pressure from behind, and was even putting pressure on Verstappen at some points. He’s definitely one to watch for the future #F1
Desperately unlucky for Lando, and a huge swing in the title race. But unbelievably… HADJAR IS ON FOR A PODIUM!! What a story this could be. #F1
McLaren opting for hard tyres feels a mistake. Verstappen bolts on a new set of softs, could make for an interesting finale #F1
