First game of 2025 complete.
Finished Emio: The Smiling Man. I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as most. It's a slow burn and takes a while to get moving. But the story is engaging enough and it's nice to see Nintendo take on darker themes.

No one can say Sakurai doesn't pack his games with tonnes of content and attention to detail. He just puts so much into these games, it's not wonder Smash Ultimate near broke him.

Kinda wild they're releasing an update to Pikmin 4 but not having a mouse controlled Switch 2 version, that seems like the most obvious update to that game

Like, I'm glad everyone is really loving ZA. Personally, I've a lot of issues with it. But I'm grown up enough about videogames that I can express that without sounding like a prick. And sounding like a prick is basically what 90% of the discourse is regardless of which direction.

Also, I really hope they've added things to battles that make sense to its new style. Moves or items that speed up recharging, or something that increases the size of the attacks. It's a real missed opportunity if they've just done real-time battles but not actually made use of them.
