"I am Song Healer, courier from the clan Iaurrhen." Aldiirn bows respectfully to the myconid, Sovereign Spaw. His meaning is carried on the solemn melody of his flute, "I sing to you the songs of Araumycos and the circles of the Northdark. May they bring solace and growth in your time of tragedy."

"My fellows and I are here in search of others from my clan--"

"Your kind broke our peace!" Spaw interrupts with brassy anger, "They killed our young!" He projects the memory of duergar and Iaurrhen drow chopping down other myconids.

"There is a blight on their minds!" Aldiirn trils, "We aim to cure them if we can find them. Let us aid each other and mend these wounds."

Spaw'a response is measured, "Nothing grows while the intruders remain. Yet..."

"I hear harmony. Sense Araumycos' boon. Find your people across the lake. Cleanse the rot. Destroy the blight!" Spaw's deep brassy tones command. Aldiirn, his comrades behind him, accepts with equal parts determination in his brow and worry in his eyes.
