When you could end reality from your throne of primordial chaos, but you'd rather just take a nap and maybe eat some leaves later. Antifa cottagecore. She/her.

Sam is having a difference of opinion with a coworker and neighbour about allowable renovations.
Embroidering friends, I need to remind you that DMC has an amazing selection of patterns that are free if you make an account. Their patterns skew funky (branded drag queen patterns!) but they've got a bit of everything: dmc.com/CA/en/patterns

Not currently sure if this is also a fantasy about having the time and energy to do embroidery, but I'm hoping once I have the kit in my hands, The Obsessions will take over.
I want to get into crewel embroidery so badly. I stress-bought a kit this week from The Crewel Work Company and in my mind I have not only finished it, I have added about six more couch cushion ideas to the queue, and I've never even done it before.

In 1967, we represented legendary drag queen Sir Lady Java when the LAPD threatened to arrest the owner of the club where she danced. This case was just one small part of her lifelong advocacy of queer expression.

We carry her legacy with us today as we defend our communities in joy and style.

Really only works if they stay around to be stared at tho
Oooooooo, you’re so busy, Mr Lilly, so in demand!
In the WASP-y neighborhood where I grew up, I learned my aggression display: pause delicately for two beats longer than is comfortable, while the mild wrinkle of my brow says “I cannot fucking believe you just said that” before resuming the conversation with complete, if chilly, courtesy.

Sometimes remembering that human nature is remarkably consistent over time is just depressing. Researching something else I came across Proverbs 26:18 today:
"Like a maniac shooting
flaming arrows of death
is one who deceives their neighbor
and says, “I was only joking!”
Coincidence! Gibbering in the corner is what I did after reading The Twisted Ones.

What Aristophanes could have done to protect Athenian democracy if he only had access to full-body inflatable penis costumes! Alcibiades would never have stood a chance.
Well, you can finally cross “I’ve seen a handcuffed, inflatable penis” off your bucket list

The clouds were like a constantly moving structure, colors not so much swirling as in slow, ponderous motion. It was immense, and wrong, and terrible and beautiful all at the same time.

Yes, your children may lick the Colorado River toads, but don't blame us when they start listening to jam bands.

Basically Tom is getting carried away and offering far more jointure (a protection against the husband pissing all your joint property away) than her dowry will support. Not a good business deal.
I cannot understand why feeding hungry kids even needs to be discussed - I mean it does, but *why?* How does anyone have a dissenting opinion?
