DND group was talking about what their characters pokemon team would be, and of course, as a the DM, it meant i had to do it for my bad guys. (My "bbeg" is a cabal of 8 powerful/influential people)

I feel like for a lot of them dont play anything that remotely has a story in it except for pokemon. Same reason why a lot of them with fight you to the death over pokemon "not being a turn base jrpg"

Apparently there's discourse on Pokemon (not) having voice acting and the big argument for the "no vo" side is that.... the MC is usually your self insert and they cant make vo because how would they ever adress you? As if 99% of videogames since the 2000 havent already solved that.

And meanwhile I absolutely despise that game lmao. It sits at the very bottom of my ranking (technically FE1 is at the bottom, but i give it seems leeway considering its the first game and when it was made)

Obviously, not all GenZ, but a significant portion that is noticeable, especially on the younger half

But on average, yall typing skills are surprisingly slow

When I started at work they expected 60wpm (I do 100 in English, 80 in french)

Now we re lucky if we get someone over 40, and we accept 35

(Cont) but the original DOES exist which begs the question what was the fucking point of this movie. It brings absolutely nothing new to the table, doesn't enhance anything, it's just... a live action almost shot for shot of the first one.

I just see it as a disrespect to the animation medium.

Sometimes you can make all the right choices and life throws a wrench your way and suddenly youre out of work and money and providing lunch can be an extra burden.

Sometimes kids leave home and forget their money/lunch behind

And sometimes parents are awful but we shouldn't punish kids for that.

Few things irk me as much as whenever talks of providing kids free lunches at school, the worst people in this country comes out of the woods work bitching that its a waste of money and parents should provide for their kids.
