I have NEVER been skilled at drawing. (This is exhibit a in why I am an abstract painter). However, I decided to participate in #scbwiArtober2025 because I had surgery last week & I need entertainment.

So…This is Abel the Spider (RIP) getting SQUASHED by… a Squash. (Since I know you couldn’t tell)

One of the best ways for #writers to gauge the literary market is to read recent releases from DEBUT authors. Why? These are writers whom publishers are willing to take a risk on, who don’t yet have a following, which means publishers believe their book has market value.
