As a writer, I'd probably want it within a year. With Genrepunk, I try to keep it around 6 months out or less.

Our apartment has a bed, a homemade cat bed, a couch, an ottoman, a new loveseat... but one cat is smooshed up in my lap, and the other is curled up next to me.

Took the kiddo to the Bookmobile with no intention of getting any books for myself... but still checked out a graphic novel with queer vibes, the new T. Kingfisher novel, and a Malcolm X biography.

Whoops?

I feed them to my outdoor birds over winter to help keep their protein up! The dark-eyed juncos especially love them.

I can't stand the smell, so I always say it's a sign of how much I love the birds. 😅

Also disability scholar here. One of the problems with it being "impolite" to call an asshole an asshole is that, all too often, it leads to more "acceptable" ableist rhetoric.

Disability scholar here. This is an example of ableism called sanism, and it both endangers mentally ill ppl, already one of our most vulnerable populations, and does not help us come up with actionable ways to deal with the ppl in power who largely are greedy, ignorant, and malicious.

This current American presidential administration is run by people who are quite obviously mentally ill, and we need to start talking about that.
