I've noticed a lot of Spyro fans want the next game to be exactly the same as the original trilogy, spitting at the idea of anything new.

Here's my two cents.

The next Spyro game should take risks to give it an identity. If it's only a copy-paste of what's already been done, then what's the point?

To think this was done with a shoestring budget and less than a year of development time (ala stingy publishers pushing rush culture). Imagine what they could have done with proper resource and time.

I confess I was skeptical at first, but multiple clips on social media convinced me to give it a chance, and when I did, I ended up falling in love with it.

I thought I was going to hate Blitzø, but he ultimately ended up being the most relatable in my case.

The facepalm was immeasurable when they cut funding to air conditioning to fuel AI (the energy consumption of which makes the already scorching heat in the US's southernmost states even worse).
The pillaring snowbanks we get all the way up here are starting to look good now.
