The mystery roll of film I developed yesterday turned out to be from my 2017 trip to Rodney, Mississippi—a ghost town on the banks of the Mississippi River that almost became the state capital.

Here you can see Rodney Presbyterian Church, whose façade is still damaged from a Civil War battle. 🧵

We've reached out to attorney Ben Crump's office for comment several times this month, including again yesterday, to ask why the results have not been released yet.

We have not received an answer yet.

A big question: It's been at least 18 days since the independent autopsy was done on Trey Reed's body—where are the results?

For perspective: The formal state autopsy was performed on Sept. 17 with results on Sept. 18.

The private autopsy was done before Sept. 27.

We still don't know the outcome.

One of the craziest stories I've seen in a long time. If you think Trump and his administration are extreme and depraved, just wait until you learn about the young guns who are positioning themselves to take over the reigns in the next few decades

This is why the inflatable costumes works so well -- it works the same way calling them "weird" or "creepy" did. It disrupts their narrative, and makes them seem pathetic rather than cool-and-cruel.

Between this, the resegregation of the military, and the retooling of the Department of Justice to focus on (fake) discrimination against white Christians, and eviscerating Civil Rights Act enforcement, they have nearly erased the structural legacy of the Civil Rights Movement.

Hi Sally. When Weiss published a supposed expose on the death of George Floyd, a veteran criminal justice reporter showed in deep detail that the piece was not just wrong but filled with falsehoods and misrepresentations. Weiss did not retract the piece. What do you think of that?

Honestly, the first film was really well done for what it was supposed to be. He made it charming, which is what he's good at: charm and heartwarming moments.

He's not as good at the dark, moody films that later parts necessitated... But he was probably the right guy for the films he was given.
