I'm actually quite angry now. In the last year, we have moved from far right riots drawing broad condemnation from across the spectrum to mass deportations being not just a policy platform, but one the government do not feel able to condemn. This is both an absurd radicalisation, and pure cowardice.

Honestly I haven't played that much with most of them individually yet, I was so keen to get them to combined mode! Nosecone is probably the most fun transformation though, and Afterburner has my favourite alt mode.

There's a slot car racing place in town that was open briefly ("temporarily closed" since 2022) and... I think I can see why it wasn't a success.

I also initially played my X360 on a 14 inch CRT and was deeply unimpressed with it as a result. It wasn't until I got an HD (well, 720p) TV a couple of years later that I really noticed the difference between the 6th and 7th gen consoles.

The Xbox 360 may have ushered in the HD era of gaming, but Nick primarily played his on tiny standard definition TVs.

Did you make the jump to HDTV when you got your first HD-ready console - or even before? If not, how long did you wait to upgrade?
