Hey hey, #PortfolioDay!

I'm Ashley, a NY-based illustrator who works on book covers, tarot cards, and TTRPGs!

I'm on a mission to do more traditional work, and here is one I made last summer. I'm dying to do more, so keep an eye out!!!

An interpretation of the Arthurian legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, in which the knight is seduced by both Lord and Lady Bertilak. Here we see the knight in between the couple, head tilted back, eyes closed, as Lord Bertilak wraps a large hand around his neck and presses in close from behind. Lady Bertilak is pulling off his green belt with one hand, and reaching below to undo the lacing on his pants with another. The knight’s visible hand squeezes Lady Bertilak’s thigh tightly.

A young woman with reddish blond hair in a Victorian updo sits in an intricately carved stone throne. She looks with a mocking smirk at the viewer, and an elegant silver crown dangles from one hand. Monstrous hands with long black nails reach from behind the throne, and are scoring deep gouges into the stone.

I woke up annoyed today because I had a stupid dream that involved me getting pulled over by police for doing a risky thing in traffic because Dream Me was late for work.
