i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful:
1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference
2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes
3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid

if anybody has experience styling wigs and fur PLEASE give me some tips and advice 🙏 i'd like to get Kayo cleaned up and pretty before my convention next week‼️

reanimal demo came out today btw and the atmosphere is so delicious. the few tense scenes we had were so impactful. also, voice acting yaay!! excited to see more.

seeing that little nightmares 3 has mixed reviews (55% positive) is exactly what i was expecting. from just the first trailer and announcement i knew it wasn't going to be good, and weren't going to capture what made LN 1 and 2 special.

this is why i'm looking forward to reanimal instead. 🙏

feel like my opinion holds a little weight since i used to be a massive little nightmares artist back during LN2 days 😭 but i think seeing that the franchise was taking a nosedive (and well, losing the hyperfixation i had LMAO) contributed a lot to why i don't draw fanart for it anymore

i freaking LOVE theme parks but wow am i too short for the suspended-seat/hanging rides (which just so happen to be my fav kind), i've genuinely hurt my ankle from trying to get off one LMAO

5 foot is tall enough to ride, but not tall enough to avoid injury 🙏
