On Saturday I celebrated 10 years of loving this one @avesplantae.bsky.social Here's to many more! ❤️
So, I've had my 2024 (Maruti) Suzuki S Presso for a couple of months now... and it's a brilliant little car! The 1000cc engine constantly surprises me with its getupandgo. The CVT (with 5 forward gears!) is a dream. Plus, this has got to be the most @hubnut.bsky.social type of car I have owned.
But... checks notes... the emails!
I'm always surprised when I see one of these about town after all these years. A friends mother had one for years. Sadly, while the engine was still going strong, rust (the scourge of living near the coast) eventually laid waste to the suspension.

Well, this can go in the "dream cars that should have been built" garage I have in my head along with these two 💁🏻‍♂️
I've got them in my 2024 Suzuki SPresso, and had them in my first few cars too. Having rolled a car while using Kumfy-Kilps, I can confirm that they don't actually hinder the proper operation of the seatbelt at all.
Morning Rich, happy Sunday to you! May the scaries stay away from your door 😁🙌🏻

Yes, they definitely didn't go completely conventional, although the creases and gaping front end seem to be part of Hyundai's current brand identity.
The Atos, in it's second body style, was hugely popular in South Africa. There are still a large number on the roads. A new Atos was launched here in 2019. Not as quirky as the original, but also seemed to be quite popular. It was discontinued here in 2023.

Attention! This cute boy is very cute ❤️
A little Pomeranian cross Jack Russel dog named Milo sits on my bed, wondering when he'll get more cuddles.
Good morning Rich 🌞 lovely to have you back!
A nice little cameo by the car that was the highlight of my trip the Beaulieu. "Gumdrop" the Austin Heavy 12/4, the star of Val Biro's books and my dream car for so much of my childhood.
At last! Cars I can recognise 🤣
Nice day to visit a place with so many happy childhood memories 🥰
This pot plant invited me to a candle light supper...
Love these exactly because they're so at odds with the Pininfarina styled cars 💁🏻‍♂️
The fact that that's not even the offer looking car Spohn "crafted" coachwork for is mind boggling. They all look like someone described a GM dream car but didn't show the poor guy a picture.

Marginally quick, but agree... Headlights are not the easiest way to identify cars now.

Guess the car in 5 tries. A new car is available each day.

They really need to invent something to stop that happening... oh...
