exactly. over time you learn what you want your bed to be like and get just the right pillows and sheets and ideally even mattresses and in (even the most expensive) hotels you just have to make more compromises.
And I'm at an age where that makes me get up a bit cranky more often than not :D

that depends on what you want it for - adventurous surprises or actually getting from A to B quick and cheap (and having your own bed on board, hopefully, so you don't have to deal with hotel furniture)
