Get out of here you clown

I don't especially care for it one way or another, but it's a totally harmless thing that a lot of people really enjoy, so why should they not be able to have it?

Tariffs have rapidly increased the price of coffee—a drink with almost no nutritional value and lots of functional substitutes. Yet coffee may also be the one thing Americans can’t live without, @elcush.bsky.social writes:
The Drink That Americans Won’t Give Up Without a Fight
Coffee has almost no nutritional value and lots of substitutes. It’s also, apparently, too important to lose.

And again, even if it were a vibration collar, which it isn't, he clearly and consistently uses it to force his giant dog to stay totally unmoving for 5+ hours, which is something we don't even allow for human prisoners.

The thing that I expected to happen has happened: people have gone back and found more videos of Hasan Piker shocking his dog, it just wasn't as obvious those times. Again, people looked for the shock collar because the event was so noticeable, but it had been there.

Good budding writers got convinced to write stories that nobody would want to read and that they didn't even really want to write. Bad ones wrote Mary Sues anyway and these were still more interesting and they found more success.
annenotation.bsky.social
The strong online push against "Mary Sues" among budding writers online in the 2000s was actively bad advice and hamstrung the people who followed it and made space for worse writers who didn't care and who won't follow any good writing advice either.

the original printing of Ulysses came with a now very expensive insert on how to read Ulysses and my conspiracy theory is if you have this insert it makes perfect sense and it isn't even hard

My main thing is that this is obviously backdoor libertarianism, failing people and then acting like that's what they wanted

Oh no, I sort of thought from what you said that you also lived in Portland, yeah it totally sucks. Hate to say it, but it's not a good time!
annenotation.bsky.social
I'm sorry, but I live in Portland and some stuff that happened here was pretty not very cool. And then some idiot in the state house representing God knows what part of Portland wanted a law where they could officially camp on school property? Like come on.
