The blue whale loses 770-1900 calories every time it lunges to get a bite of krill.

Luckily, with a successful lunge, it can get almost 500,000 calories in one mouthful.

Of course the biggest animal to ever live knows how to maximize gains.

You are kind to strangers on the internet and you think you we don’t notice. You are generous and empathetic, but you don’t do it for others, you do it for you. And perhaps you think we don’t notice.

We do.

Thank you.
#3GoodThings:

- Weeded the garden. May be the last time I have to do that this season.

- Picked up super bulky yarn for new crochet project. It’s bubblegum pink, chenille soft, and perfect.

- Laying out a rotating 3-month curriculum for myself. Once a homeschooler, always an autodidact.
#3GoodThings:

- New full game playthrough posted by one of my favorite streamers. Time to watch Little Nightmares 3!

- Planning my next crochet project.

- Footrests.
#3GoodThings:

- Had time today to do some creative work.

- Sleeping enough to dream.

- Playing the longest game, which leads to not sweating the small stuff.
#3GoodThings:

- Made some really good spam musubi. Added an egg layer with garlic and sesame oil, and assembled with yangnyeom sauce.

- Proper rain coming tomorrow. The garden will be happy.

- Feeling the spooky season vibe.
#3GoodThings:

- Fixed the nose pad on my glasses.

- The ad integration’s been broken on my fave cryptogram app for a bit. I certainly don’t begrudge the developer their income, but I am enjoying no ads. 😅

- Cozy pajamas on a cool night.

They say the universe used to be one, big, hot, melty spot, and then it exploded.
They say it’s still expanding, forever. Everything getting farther and farther apart.

Do you think the stars ever get lonely for the old times?
