Meanwhile they shut Scotland’s only refinery and pay for a new fifth one to be built in Belgium, having already ensured all Scorlttish offshore wind power makes landfall in Yorkshire.

This morning, I was hit in the face by a baton.

I’m going to have a pretty gnarly bruise but we need to remember why this is happening: Trump and ICE are rounding up our neighbors, treating them as subhuman, and shipping them off to labor camps in foreign countries. It has to end.

"If you’re a Trump-backing Republican, there is nothing you can say vile enough that the party will cut you loose. If you’re publicly opposed to Trump, it doesn’t matter how peacefully and patriotically you express that opposition."

Not just precedent, but the will of the people. Nine justices should not be able to overrule what our ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES have unanimously voted for.

Caerphilly apparently. I honestly, honestly despise this stuff. They have nothing to offer, nothing to say, nothing to hope for, nothing to aspire to, no solutions, nothing. Just hate and lies.
Hmm, Zack is sounding like a bit of a young Corbyn, or is he simply trying to be all things to all men? He’s also clearly a Unionist given his silence on Scotland, yet showing yesterday that he’s prepared to talk about Britishness even when his party only represents Eng & Wales. Nuance yet arse…
An actual, real life, nuanced discussion about Brexit!!

I have yet to hear an argument for why the Labour British government won't compensate WASPI women.

Labour promised to, before being elected last year. But has now refused to honour that promise and is defending that refusal in court.

And what Andrew Cuomo lacks in integrity, he could never make up for with experience.

Whilst just 13 months after winning the General Election, Labour is on its worst polling recorded in the post-war period.

Tel Aviv is not in Europe. Let them play their actual neighbours if they are on such good terms with fair play and international law…. And that goes for Eurovision too

It costs ~$70 to produce a year’s supply of insulin.

Yet, the average annual cost of insulin went from $2,864 in 2012 to $5,705 in 2016 to $18,000 in 2025. A 25,714% markup. That isn’t inflation or supply chain—It’s corporate greed.

Now—California will sell insulin for $11. Make this nationwide!

I focused this, far too long, thread primarily on policy and tried, as much as possible, to keep personal views limited. Here's what really pisses me off though, at least Conservatives and Reform are honest about who they target with anti-immigration bs, Labour still pretends to be "progressive" 1/5
Very long thread: As with many of Labour's anti-immigration policies, this isn't new. British police have been stationed in other countries for this purpose for a long time
It does however show how Labour is pushing more on anti-immigration than previous governments. 1/

The FDA approved Enovid (AKA “The Pill”) as a contraceptive on May 9, 1960. JFK became president months later. So, of course, pregnancy rates were much higher than now, as birth control pills became more easily available to women.

RFK Jr. is an idiot.
RFK Jr: "When my uncle was president, the fertility rate in this country was 3.5%. Today it is 1.6%. The replacement rate -- in other words the amount of fertility you need to keep your population even -- is 2.1%. We are below replacement. That is a national security threat to our country."
