I agree : o ! Those were different times for pokemon, and as much as I'm sad I missed the release, I think those games are worth it to play even 10 years after, even if just once to experience the og story, trials, and the overall last pokemon 3ds experience

My current thoughts on Ultra sunmoon games.
- A lot of new fun pokemon to catch!!!
-I love the surfing minigame
-Games did become harder
-I don't like story changes🥲base sun and moon mostly nailed everything already, but I get it, they had to make the games a little bit different
