Cops led us into the street as the new “protest zone” and then beat us repeatedly.

Got hit in the face with a baton. Leaving to pick up my friends who were arrested.

The sacrifice of story/character for theme, the obscured/unlikeable human protagonist, the confused and inconsistent nature of the threat, the lack of movement. I just found it nice vibes-wise (and the dog IS instantly lovable) but mostly dull and the mid credit btw thing is ANNOYING.

Pro tip to reporters and protesters: always have swim goggles in your pockets or bags. They’re small, $10 and if tear gas is used, slip them on & no matter how much you cough, you’ll still be able to SEE without burning eyes.
