// I can't help but be reminded of Jack O'Neill by this. 🤣
That seems to be a go-to excuse parents use when their children have feelings that contradict theirs...
// Yes, he was. He's my favorite Romulan.
// "The Defector" is the best Tomalak episode.
Anything with Tomalak is magical ✨
Did you try explaining your feelings on it to him?
I heard the Prophets made a Dominion fleet disappear inside the Wormhole.
The Prophets are aliens, yes, but to most Bajorans, they're gods. Personally...I don't know if I believe in anything. I participate in the rites of my House, but faith isn't something I'm accustomed to.

I understand. I've heard it can be...a strange experience.
I know it isn't, but it is for religiously conservative Bajorans.

Yes, it was. It died out after humanity's first contact with Vulcans, but most humans learn about it as an example of religious intolerance among humans.
The fact that I became pregnant out of wedlock just made it worse. This former vedek is like Christian fundamentalists in human history...
By my relationship with Intendant Kira and First Clerk Leeta.
He was very insistent that I leave because he considers me...contaminated...
Once. A crazy former vedek drove me out, and I haven't been back since.
I don't expect to see it in mine, but perhaps in the lifetimes of our children or grandchildren, it will happen.
// Good night, everyone. See you all tomorrow.
It's a study in contrast for sure. I know that many Vulcan colony worlds have Romulan enclaves. It kind of gives me hope that at least Vulcans and Romulans can coexist. As for mutual acceptance...I suppose time will tell there.

Good things are possible and we don’t have to settle.
// I mean, immigrants can become Prime Minister of the UK and Canada, why not President and Vice President of the United States?
// It would take a constitutional amendment to do that, one that's overdue IMO.
// I hope you're right.
My prediction is that tonight marks the beginning of the end of Trumpism.
You're right; it does have to be a choice, not forced by either Vulcans or Romulans and not involving any forced assimilation into either culture.
