Faktum är att 🇺🇦 visade enormt tålamod och vilja att tillmötesgå 🇷🇺, grundat i ukrainarnas starka önskan om goda grannrelationer, även efter att ryska soldater dödat tusentals av dem. Väst höll igen i stödet till 🇺🇦. Det hjälpte inte. 🇷🇺 vill inte ha kompromiss utan total, självutplånande underkastelse.

Ett par saker för den som föredrar fakta framför magkänsla. Ukraina var alliansfritt med 70-80 % opinion för att förbli det när landet invaderades 2014.

”Nato är Ukrainas svar på rysk invasion”

Ukrainas medlemskap i Nato blev aktuellt först när landet blev invaderat av Ryssland. Det var då som en majoritet av ukrainarna sa ja till försvarsalliansen, skriver Alex Voronov.
