I looked through all the photos and then had to look at the floor plan to realise.
No but it would absolutely end the relationship.

Forgiveness for breaking it without asking, or for never fixing it?
Yeah but they never go back and fix those afterwards do they
Essentially this “war on Portland” has turned into an advert for the city for the rest of world. It looks like there are a lot of great people there.
Depends how stale they are and how depressed I am.
It was something I assumed was illegal until I saw this, and then I thought maybe there weren’t laws about this because nobody thought they’d be necessary because nobody would be this ridiculous.
I had genuinely assumed there were laws about offering trips in what looks like a badly converted combo boiler to a mass marine grave.
Murphy was the little known inspiration for Don Henley’s line “we are all just prisoners here, of our own device”. Although he didn’t resent the subsequent success of Hotel California, he did wish Don had helped him find the key to the padlock.
I thought these were an American thing - primarily for disposing of murder weapons and occasionally bodies in crime dramas.

You know the Politco article about the Young Republicans praising Hitler and spewing hate speech?

They redacted every slur except the R word.

That tells you everything you need to know about how pervasive ableism is.

It's good how someone who has been paid a fortune to write newspaper columns and books - and certainly far, far, far more than actual journalists and writers- admits he just can't be arsed to actually write and farms it out to AI instead, isn't it? 🫠
In today's least surprising news

Signs saying no blacks and no Irish?
They were just having a bit of a laugh
Now give me misty eyed nostalgia
As I eulogise the old tin bath.
Almost like badly rhymed doggerel
Can make the past have appeal
If you overlook all the bigotry
And pretend the problems weren’t real.
The kids were a lot more contented
Well the ones not given a smack
And not those who caught polio
lying in iron lungs on their back.

And not anybody disabled, into institutions they go,
And kids who felt same sex attraction were very sternly told no.

Neurologically speaking, there's no such thing as 'useless' subjects or 'rip-off' degrees

Insisting we should only teach useful subjects is like saying science should only do research that gives positive results

If you honestly believe that's how anything works, *your* education was the wasted one
I think something happens to Dom and Matt has to rescue him, deploying cosplay skills etc in the world of espionage
